Congress participants gather at a location specifically designated for this purpose one half hour before sunrise in order to be present for the first rays. Even in summer, mornings in the hills are often cool and damp, so warm clothes as well as a blanket and chair are advisable. \u2018<em>It is also extremely important to bring sunglasses to protect the eyes<\/em>.\u2019<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In order to benefit from all aspects of the meditation at sunrise, it is important to prepare the night before, freeing our thoughts of all preoccupations. It is advisable to eat lightly, to avoid troubling discussions and to retire early, arranging everything so as to be free the next morning, with a clear mind and a heart at peace.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>An exercise you can try on your way to the sunrise <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As you make your way to the sunrise, think of the little invisible beings, the spirits of nature who work to create the beauty around you\u2026.Walk slowly, be mindful and reverent. Think respectfully of this place as well, which must be consecrated as a Temple. Remember to thank the great spirits who come to visit it.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #dc5e01;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">The Sun\u2019s Role in the Spiritual Life <\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In 1937, the<em> <a href=\"http:\/\/fbucanada.com\/en\/omraam-mikhael-aivanhov\/omraam-mikhael-aivanhov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Master Omraam Mikha\u00ebl A\u00efvanhov<\/a><\/em> stated that the sun would play an ever greater role in the life of humanity. This has already come to pass in the fields of art, science, technology and even leisure. By way of its light, it is intelligence. It is also love, an impetus toward all that is positive, constructive. And it is also life, spiritual life, life in all its purity\u2026. The sun is a symbol of these three higher principles: light, warmth and life.<\/p>\n<p id=\"respiration\" class=\"citation\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Creator has deposited seeds in our soul, spirit, heart, mind and physical body, and in order for them to grow, we must draw close to the Sun. Once human beings decide to approach the spiritual sun, all the seeds deposited in them will begin to germinate, grow and bear fruit.\u2019<\/p>\n<p class=\"citationSign\"><span class=\"citation\"><a id=\"respiration\" name=\"respiration\"><\/a><\/span>Omraam Mikha\u00ebl A\u00efvanhov<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">[\/span6][\/row_fluid]<span style=\"color: #dc5e01; font-size: 16px;\"><strong>BREATHING EXERCISES AT THE SUNRISE <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Breathing is a form of nutrition. When we breathe, we must retain the air for a long moment, until the lungs have completely assimilated the nutritive substances. By means of deep breathing, the nervous system and many illnesses can be healed; indeed, the purity and vitality of our organism depend on it. By means of respiration we can also attract materials, forces and particles from higher worlds, in other words, light, peace and all life-giving elements.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #dc5e01; font-size: 16px;\">GYMNASTIC EXERCISES <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>These movements are practiced immediately after sunrise.<\/p>\n<p id=\"repas\" class=\"citation\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u2018In Initiatic Science, there is an important rule according to which each of our activities must touch upon all three worlds: the physical world, the world of feeling and the world of thought. In doing these gymnastic exercises, we must work in these three worlds to produce something powerful, not only for ourselves, but for the brotherhood and even for the entire world.\u2019<\/p>\n<p class=\"citation\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=SVd5D7R4b3M&amp;feature=youtu.be\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-2498\" src=\"http:\/\/fbucanada.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/Presentation.jpg\" alt=\"Presentation\" width=\"75\" height=\"41\" \/>\u00a0Video Extract\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Each exercise is accompanied by a phrase pronounced silently or very quietly, so as to avoid disturbing others. <a id=\"repas\" name=\"repas\"><\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #dc5e01;\">MEALS<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/fbucanada.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/blago_OMArepas.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-984\" src=\"http:\/\/fbucanada.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/blago_OMArepas.jpg\" alt=\"blago_OMArepas\" width=\"187\" height=\"215\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Breakfast is a communal meal, served about an hour after the sunrise. In summer it takes place on the terrace, offering a pleasant moment for fraternal exchanges. A recorded talk by the Master is usually heard at the midday meal. Here we find answers to both specific and general questions and receive light, warmth and a force capable of improving both our individual and collective lives. The evening meal is similar to that at midday but does not include a talk by the Master. Both of these meals are eaten in silence.<\/p>\n<p class=\"citation\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Silence is an expression of harmony \u2013 Daily Meditation, November 28, 2003 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"citation\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Silence is an expression of peace, of harmony, of perfection and provides the best conditions for psychological and spiritual activity. Those who love and understand silence gradually come to apply it to everything they do: when they move things, when they speak, when they walk and work, instead of creating commotion, they are more mindful, more delicate and supple. All their actions, gestures and attitudes are imbued with something that seems to come from another world, a world that is poetry, music, dance, inspiration.<\/p>\n<p class=\"citation\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Silence and a respect for others \u2013 Daily Meditation, March 16, 2003<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"citation\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">In your gestures, your activities, in all aspects of your daily life, learn to love and cultivate silence. Why do people allow themselves to talk loudly, to shout, to knock things over and slam doors? This behavior is unpleasant for those around them, but equally harmful to themselves. But are they aware of this? No. They think they are fine as they are, and others must simply put up with them. Well, this kind of egotism is very detrimental to their evolution. Yes, pay attention, if you take care not to disturb others with your noise, you will develop many qualities: delicacy, sensibility, harmony, which create the best conditions in you for contact with the luminous entities of the invisible world.<\/p>\n<p class=\"citation\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Silence promotes spiritual creation \u2013 Daily Meditation, January 8, 2001 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p id=\"paneurythmie\" class=\"citation\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the spiritual life, silence is never an end in itself; its purpose is to provide conditions favorable for our work with thought. Silence in itself provides nothing of great importance; of course it calms, it relaxes, but nothing more. The true role of silence is to allow our thought and imagination to soar. So each time you enjoy true moments of silence, whether at home or in nature, try to create by thought something pure, warm and luminous, so that the atmosphere around you vibrates, and those who then come to visit you or who are passing by receive an impulse to do good. What use is it simply to be still? We mustn\u2019t sit there like a rock! Even in stillness and silence, we must know how to be alive and creative. <a id=\"paneurythmie\" name=\"paneurythmie\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span id=\"paneurythmie\" style=\"color: #dc5e01; font-size: 16px;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #dc5e01;\">PANEURHYTHMY\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Paneurhythmy is a sacred dance that calls the soul to the light. Beginning in spring, it is practiced early in the morning following breakfast (weather permitting). The word \u2018Paneurhythmy\u2019 means supreme cosmic rhythm. It is an expression of the sublime universal harmony of movement, and its effect on the dancer is immense and complete. The fruit of a perfect knowledge of the forces latent in the human organism, the movements contribute to man\u2019s physical development. In performing the Paneurhythmy, the dancers experience an awakening of their spiritual being. There is always a connection between music and thought, and the music of the Paneurhythmy bears within it something new. It corresponds both to the movements and to the ideas associated with them, and it is these ideas that are ushering in the new culture.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/fbucanada.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/paneurythmie2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-993\" src=\"http:\/\/fbucanada.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/paneurythmie2.jpg\" alt=\"paneurythmie2\" width=\"554\" height=\"241\" srcset=\"https:\/\/fbucanada.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/paneurythmie2.jpg 554w, https:\/\/fbucanada.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/paneurythmie2-300x131.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 554px) 100vw, 554px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"citation\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u2018The movements of the gymnastic exercises and the paneurhythmy are nothing in themselves. They become truly efficacious and beneficial only when executed in the light of the teaching, which provides us with knowledge of the invisible world, the different beings who inhabit this world, the laws governing it, the forces circulating there, as well as the structure of the human being, the power of faith and the Word. You can spend years dancing the paneurhythmy and doing the exercises, but if you don\u2019t understand the significance of each movement and the nature of the forces you project through them into the universe, it serves little purpose.<\/p>\n<p class=\"citation\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">It isn\u2019t enough for an activity merely to bring you joy, relaxation or a sense of wellbeing. It must become a means for your transformation, for your liberation. Even the way people engage in religion, art and science does not necessarily lead to their self-improvement. This is where something must be changed, and this is why here in the Universal White Brotherhood the individual\u2019s self-improvement is given first priority. This improvement is only possible if we succeed in changing the quality of our vibrations, in rendering them more intense, which is to say, more spiritual. Everything rests on the intensity of our thoughts, our feelings and our life; this is what initiatic science reveals to us. Only on condition that we live an intense life will the gymnastic exercises, the paneurhythmy, meals in silence, prayer, meditation and contemplation at the sunrise bring significant results.<\/p>\n<p class=\"citation\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">People seek satisfaction and happiness in different ways and in different places: some at home with their family, others in bars, night clubs, casinos, theaters or exhibitions, and others, still fewer, in churches and temples. This is all very well, but it is not the way to improve themselves. Not even in churches will they improve themselves, not even in initiatic schools\u2026 They stay the same -- unjust, spiteful, cruel, weak, anxious, ill -- because they have never asked themselves what they can do to transform themselves and become divine beings. They prefer what is easy and enjoyable, which will never bring about their transformation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"citation\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">If you love the light of this teaching, if you accept it, absorb it and digest it, it will produce miracles in you. But in order for this to happen, you must decide to make sacrifices, to overcome certain faults. Until you do so, you will perhaps understand things intellectually with a few of your brain cells, but you won\u2019t gain true understanding, this understanding that pervades the entire body down to the very last cell. It is when you advance along the path of this understanding that each exercise recommended by the teaching will become effective and useful to you.\u2019<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Next Page<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #dc5e01; font-size: 16px;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #dc5e01;\">GROUP ACTIVITIES\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/fbucanada.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/blago_agric.jpg\"><span style=\"color: #dc5e01;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-997 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/fbucanada.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/blago_agric.jpg\" alt=\"blago_agric\" width=\"220\" height=\"292\" \/><br \/>\n<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>During weekend and congress gatherings, volunteer participation is welcomed in various activities that enable the center to function, including preparation of meals, gardening and maintenance of the premises. <\/em>While no tasks are obligatory, it befits each person to understand the usefulness and importance of participation in community life. It is their love for the brotherhood and the joy of serving that motivate the disciples. Group activities also provide members of the brotherhood the chance to become better acquainted, creating a friendly atmosphere suitable to the projects at hand. The Master often insisted that the brotherhood centers offer opportunities for participation in all kinds of activities, allowing members to broaden their fields of expertise and to awaken brain cells that have not yet been exercised. Before beginning any task, we are to link ourselves with the divine world. In the Master\u2019s words: \u2018<em>Before undertaking any task whatsoever, you must learn to concentrate on harmony. In doing so, your accomplishments will continue to have lasting results for all eternity.\u2019<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #dc5e01;\"><strong>CHORAL SINGING <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In our collective life, music and choral singing in particular are an integral and essential part our daily meetings and meals. The sacred songs of our fraternity are a powerful means of linking us with the divine world. They were created to enable us to participate in universal harmony and at the same time to engage in spiritual work.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">With this teaching, our consciousness awakens to a new life, and music becomes a creative energy, a force capable of shaping our mind and heart. Thanks to these songs and the music, we can continue to grow stronger and, whatever the circumstances, to advance on the path of evolution. As with the spoken word, music has no limits; its possibilities are infinite. It stimulates our higher impulses, our enthusiasm; it develops ever more subtle perceptions in us and awakens our sense of the sacred. The etheric world is able to transmit the human voice across thousands of miles\u2026 We can sing alone, but by singing together we create powerful forces able to attract celestial helpers who come to take part in our collective work.\u2019<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"comportement\" style=\"color: #dc5e01; font-size: 16px;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #dc5e01;\">MUSIC <\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"citation\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u2018Music is a gift to us from the divine world. It is the sublime language that has resounded throughout the universe from time immemorial, through which God eternally manifests his love and his beauty. For many people, music is an art and nothing more. They are generally unaware that it is also a science. By limiting it merely to the art of combining sounds and reproducing them in all kinds of ways, using any and all possible means, people will never discover all the secrets hidden in its structures. From an ordinary point of view, these secrets are unimaginable!<\/p>\n<p class=\"citation\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">From an initiatic point of view, music reflects the order of all things, the science of the harmonic retios of the entire universe, from microcosm to macrocosm\u2026. It is based on immutable principles, and in failing to honor them, man inevitably loses his way. Music is designed to act on our subtle bodies and to link human beings with their celestial homeland, but it can also lead them to hell, if they are so inclined.\u2019<\/p>\n<hr id=\"#comportement\" \/>\n<p class=\"citation\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #dc5e01; font-size: 16px;\">CONDUCT<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Participants at Blagoslov\u00e9ni\u00e9 must always keep in mind that the Universal White Brotherhood is an initiatic school. This means that they must conduct themselves in such a way that they create harmony in the life of the collectivity and enable the various activities to be carried out in the best possible manner. Together they can thus achieve the purpose for which this school exists, which is to say, the preparation of a new humanity and the establishment of the kingdom of God on Earth.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Out of respect for one another, the brothers and sisters demonstrate respect for the common areas, observing all normal rules of courtesy, notably:<\/p>\n<blockquote id=\"soir\"><p><em>Silence<br \/>\n<\/em><em>Punctuality<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Tolerance<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Orderliness<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Cleanliness <\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For a fuller understanding of comportment from an esoteric perspective, read Chapter 4: \u201cActions\u201d in Volume 13 of the Complete Works, Editions Prosveta, p. 63-74.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #dc5e01;\"><strong>The Greeting <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We greet each other several times a day with a gesture of the hand. The hand is comparable to a transmitter-receiver, capable of sending and receiving thought waves.<\/p>\n<p id=\"conference\" class=\"citation\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u2018Let\u2019s talk about the hands now, which are supreme instruments of magic. Magi are those who have learned to use their hands to receive and project energy, to channel and direct it, to amplify or attenuate it. Several times a day we greet each other with a gesture of the hand. You have no idea how significant and effective this gesture can be, but only for those who are conscious of what they are doing. For others it is simply a social convention. You must greet each other consciously, putting a great deal of love into your gaze as well as your hand, and projecting that love for the benefit of the entire world. This gesture of greeting should be a true communion: potent, harmonious and vibrant with life. For me this is so important, because I often have such a great desire to share some of my love and happiness with you! When he appeared in the great hall, he was presented with a short passage from one of his previous talks on a given theme. He first read this text aloud and then developed the subject, speaking entirely from spontaneous inspiration. The Master seemed to be personally addressing the brothers and sisters present, offering answers to their inner preoccupations. In the course of his talks, he used all subjects to illustrate the principles of initiatic science, passing from analysis to synthesis with remarkable ease, logic and subtlety. And even when he made his audience smile with an unexpected anecdote, or lingered on a detail, his approach was unfailingly methodical and his message marvelously clear. He responds still today to his listeners\u2019 questions, and the talks recorded between1960 and 1985 remain forever relevant.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #dc5e01;\">Listening to the Master\u2019s talks<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This activity is not an end in itself, but rather a means, a point of departure, a launching pad for the real work. To listen and learn is clearly useless if this knowledge isn\u2019t applied and lived.
