True Beauty<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

\"rose11\"<\/span> \u2018Beauty, true beauty cannot be explained. You see a diamond that has just caught a ray of sunlight\u2026 Well, this burst of light, this dazzling blaze of color comes the closest to true beauty. True beauty is not found in forms; it actually has no form, because it is beyond form. It consists only of currents, forces, a radiance. Neither the phenomena of nature nor even the faces and bodies of men and women can put us in the presence of true beauty. But to the extent that they have a link with the divine world, they can impart a few rays to us. We must consecrate all our efforts to the search for true beauty, for here lies the highest degree of art.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u2018People still do not know what the true beauty of any being is, because they are too focused on form. If this form is harmonious and pleasant, they exclaim, \u00abHow beautiful!\u00bb But behind the form there is still more to know: the fragrances and emanations coming from the deepest part of this being, the life flowing there\u2026 And if they were able to go even further and see that part of the person living in the heavenly realms, they would discover even greater beauty: the splendour of the spirit. But the splendour of the spirit is an essence that is much too subtle to find physical expression. True beauty cannot be described: it is pure life, exuberant life\u2026 If you look at a diamond on which a ray of sunlight has just fallen, you are dazzled by the sparkle and brilliance of the colours. That is true beauty? The degree to which people are able to capture the light and immerse themselves in its vibrations and its bursts of colour indicates how close they are to true beauty.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u2018Beauty exerts such fascination over humans that they are always tempted to move toward it to touch it, grasp it and possess it. But beauty cannot be possessed, because in essence it does not belong to the physical world, and so it slips away at the slightest attempt to touch it. Beauty is meant exclusively for the eyes; it is not meant for the mouth or the hands. It likes to be seen, but it cannot bear to be touched. So we should always be careful when we meet a truly beautiful person. Those who do not have the right attitude can drive away the heavenly entities that inhabit thisperson and give them their beauty. They might possess this person\u2019s body, but if it is deserted by the entities, they too will lose something, for they will be deprived of the intangible element that made their own life beautiful. So our joy and inspiration depend on the respect we show beauty. In learning to contemplate it each day, we taste true life.\u2019<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
