‘Disciples must work to develop the most powerful weapon of all… the ability to concentrate on divine subjects. The more accustomed disciples become during their earthly life to concentrating on luminous subjects, the more powerful they become. The slightest distress disappears as soon as they concentrate on sublime light.’

‘What is of utmost importance for human beings is their capacity to concentrate on divine objects. This capacity allows them to peacefully pursue their path throughout eternity. Suppose that in leaving this world you are plunged in darkness and can see neither friends nor angels. You are alone. Who will come to save you? It will be your ability to concentrate on divine objects, because this capacity endures after your departure. This capacity doesn’t come from the mind, which merely reflects it. It is the spirit that possesses this ability and can focus on the best subjects. When we leave our body, this ability lives on in the spirit. It is the spirit that thinks, feels and acts, which it does through the matter of the physical body. But when it is freed from the body, don’t imagine that the human being can no longer think, feel or act. On the contrary, it is then that one’s thoughts become truly powerful. If we become accustomed while on earth to concentrating on luminous subjects, it is merely by concentrating on the Creator, on the light, that we will be able to dissipate the darkness and our distress.’
